Cotto will have to move up in weight here pretty soon if what some people are saying is true about him being drained.

ur right, but if floyd rests against the ropes (which he tends to do sometimes) and eats some of the body shots cotto throws, hes going to get even more defensive, maybe even to the point where he could be literally running. but who knows? not me, not u. i just hope that cotto gets by pac and fights floyd and i hope both of those fights are 2 great, competitive fights.

floyd v cotto would be competitive if he could get to floyds body. the fact is cottos always in trouble in fights. cotto used to be a good body puncher but hes been a little gun shy lately. i hope cotto gets by manny to shut up all the *******s but floyds a different level of boxer.

You guys do not know Cotto at all. He does not like the media he likes privacy and I respect that. He does not need to be smiling for everyone he needs to do his job. This is his job and sometimes people want Cotto to be someone he is not. Mayweather is an actor Cotto is a boxer. If I was on his place I would be the same way because I dont like how the media follow you when you are on the top and then kill you when you are not. All the reporters are pure hypocrites and Cotto hates them.

First off, to all Mayweather fans..you can not honestly say that Mayweather does not cherry pick his opponents? Yes Mayweather is a good boxer but like mentioned before he has not fought any top WWs. He hooses opponents that do not pose any threat to him. Mayweather should fight Mosley or the winner of Pac/Cotto. I do believe a Mayweather/Pac fight would not be competitive because of the size differencial but Pac proved to the world that even tho he is a smaller fighter he hits harder then mayweather with his knockout of Hatton. I believe Cotto will beat Pac on Saturday and then Mayweather will choose not to fight him and fight a nobody. Then after Mosley beas Berto there will be a rematch of Cotto/Mosley for the #1 WW crown. Also people say that Mosley is the number one welterwieght yet he lost to Cotto already? Yes cotto lost to margarito but who knows if he used those same wraps in their fight? Idk just some things to talk about..

Pac is still world champ at JWW. If he loses, go back to 140 and whoop whoever gets put in front of him.

A third fight with JMM will happen. Both Manny & Roach already expressed their interests in the 3rd fight. Why not, make it happen.

You know... there is one thing about Cotto/Floyd fight... And that is the thing that Floyd probably knows very well... Afterall he may be everything except an idiot... He was reported to have rib injuries... If the fight happens i can see him outworking Cotto easily for a while, but at some stage... Floyd is used to stay on the ropes sometimes... He can do it against a puncher - shoulder-roll the incoming missiles... But with Cotto it would be different... Mayweather`s injured ribs do not belong within the same sentence with the best body-puncher of recent years!

My pick would be Cotto by Ko after severe body assault while trailing on the scorecards...

I don't think this is true RIB INJURY? Floyd just bought sometime to make weight w/c isn't enough come fight night with JMM. But as for Cotto winning the fight with Floyd is probable and a possibility.

Miguel Cotto sounds very comfortable with the weight and he sounds extremely confident on him winning. That's good, this is gonna be a good fight.

Btw, Cotto saying that you can't force someone to fight you, when asked about a fight with Mayweather. Advice from Kevin Jesus: Call him out.

Mosley: tail end of his career and desperate for a pay check, rejected 2 call outs by Floyd.

Margarito: Allegedly offered 8 mill to fight Mayweather while Mayweather had a guaranteed 10 mill, a spot in HBO PPV, and the Ring WW title.

Williams: No WW wants Williams.

This was ages ago? And that time Mosley was on the loosing side after 2 defeats from Forrest and sighting a ODLH fight w/c is more profitable that time.
