and the fight being at cruiserweight he's not gonna be throwing nearly as much combo's as he did against lacy at lightheavy(for the reason that hopkins is not a bodybag and also it's not at 175)
it's gonna be tough, but i think he might just pull it off(could also just be my fanboyism coming into play tho)

Hopkins is simply not active enough within the division to be called the best light heavyweight, even if you think he would beat Dawson. The only light heavyweight he has fought is Antonio Tarver. Dawson is cleaning the division out in the same time period.
