Kessler has skills but Dawson schools him worst than he did Johnson II

Prime Eubank was a god on these boards. The version Calzaghe fought is ranked a little below that.

And most of the fans who talk about him didn't even watch him in his prime. Eubank was a very good fighter, at best.

            That's where I'm at.

Box the **** out of Kessler? Perhaps (I'd most certainly pick Dawson to win such a fight, at 168 and esp. 175). But Chad, even by his own admission, isn't beating the **** out of any top fighter.

Dawson beats him easy, what can Keller do that Dawson can't.

I kind of agree. I'd rate him closer to great than very good, but certainly somewhere in between. He was well on his way, prior to the Watson rematch. Not sure if it was the lingering effects of that fight, his permanently campaigning at 168 or a combination of both, but he became a much different fighter after that.

I didn't read the entire thread, but how did it go from Dawson to Eubank (I'm guessing Calzaghe was mentioned somewhere in there?)

Punch. Dawson face is a magnet for right hands, and Kesslers is one of the best.

                  Kessler by k.o.

                    Calzaghe would EASILY UD Dawson.

It always does, brother. Check out the who's the best LHW today thread. Anything that involves Kessler will always go back to that. At least Mikkel has an opportunity to carve his own niche in a couple weeks.
