Yeah. Kessler wanted Dawson but I heard he wouldn't go down to 168. I think he wanted a catch weight of 172? Maybe somebody can correct me on this. However, Chad apparently was willing to go to 168 to fight P Williams.

I'm not entirely sure, but Kessler's people wanted 168 or 172 because they felt Dawson was really a cruiserweight (he was 191 tonight, btw). Dawson's people wanted it at LHW.

It was something like that. Not entirely sure, there was several different weights and scenarios being discussed.

That doesn't surprise me to be honest. I don't blame Dawson for not wanting to go down to Kessler's weight and it doesn't seem like Kessler wanted to fight Dawson at 175 either. Both guys see each other as a dangerous fight.

Dawson would be willing to go down to 168 to fight a Paul Williams because Williams is being put on a pedestal that doesn't match his boxing ability IMO. He's overhyped, and quite a few fighters at 168 would have a good chance of beating Williams at that weight nevermind Dawson.
