Dawson is the goods no doubt in my mind that he is the class of the 175 pound division, until proven otherewise. I do kind of agree that Johnson was slowing down and I was thinking Dawson would win easily but still that was the best display of Dawson's career, normally he is very inconsistent but with the exceptions for a couple spots he was on the ball fighting his fight.

It was a beautiful boxing display tonight.

People expect to see KOs in the higher weight divisions and not boxers who look to score points wins. It's unfair, but it's life at the same time. Of course you a lot of times have to fight more cautiously in higher divisions, and that's why you a often see Heavyweights playing cat and mouse with each other if they know each one has the power to get the other one out of there. Dawson will have to take that extra step the next time he is in with a fighter who's chin is a ?. We already knew Johnson had a good chin though, so I can't hate on Chad for boxing to a decision.

Glen is 40 and clearly past it. Dawson should have given him an immediate rematch but he waited almost 2 years.

              Don't be a fool.

HBO needs to get behind a Cloud-Dawson fight. Pascal is already busy with Diacanu. Why can't Dawson fight Cloud first and let that other match play it's course.

It'd be very hard to squeeze in. The Pascal-Diaconu fight is in December, and the mandatory defense must be made 90-120 days after that fight.

For them to make a Cloud fight between December and the mandatory fight would be hard.

After Floyd and Paul Williams, Chad is the best PFP fighter in the world.

JMM was a way more exciting fighter than Dawson is right now in the so-called boring part of his career. And look how little fan interest he received. Even though he was technical, he actually scored KOs. A lot of people just have high standards, and it's life. We have to deal with it.
