You have to watch the fight to see it, obviously there a video clip of just Calzaghe feinting. Calzaghe feinted as he came inside when he let his hands go, and that's where Hopkins would clinch so he could reset. That's why he fought so cautiously, just as he did against Taylor and the reason why he wasn't catious against Pavlik.

Also, that was a clear stagger. Shortly after Taylor landed the over hand right, you see Hopkins tightly grab Jermaine and hold on for at least 4 seconds. He was clearly buzzed.

Calzaghe doesn't get tired, circles the opponent and his activity is insane, I can't say the same from Chad.
You think Bernard is going to come forward for enough of the fight and not be moving way for enough time to land body shots and throw enough punches to the body to tire him out? On the outside that is where the faster more athletic Dawson should be able to get to Hopkins without Hopkins getting to him. This is where Dawson should and will keep the fight, without Dawson being aggressive I don't see how Hopkins can win.

I don't think Bernard will fight again as long as he beats RJJ...unless they throw some crazy money at him to fight Chad...

Bernard has to rough up and tire Dawson in the inside...the judges are gonna score the more clear punches when the guy's are at a distance...I doubt they will give B-Hop much credit roughing Chad up in clinches...

Bernard has to tire Dawson or confuse him badly to win...

It wasn't until late, when Jermaine completely ran out of gas, was when Bernard started to get his best work done.

Also, Calzaghe was able to feint Hopkins on his way in. When you feint Hopkins, it gives him something more to think about. Are you sure I'm the one who didn't watch these fights?
Hard enough to use that as an example when neither could beat Bernard decisively.

Homue, your crazy. The only one getting feinted was Calzaghe, who came in windmilling. also Hopkins was never buzzed against Taylor he was off balance once and that was it. I assume the big punchers Hopkins faced would buzz him if he could get buzzed.

I don't think an aging Bhop would fare too well against a young prime fast dawson.. Alot of y'all are on the kool aid from Bhop's win over and entirely different, much slower and one dimensional Pavlik

              Just my opinion

B-Hop would beat Chad both inside and out but knowing how vulnerable Chad is on the inside, best believe B-Hop will be heading there.

Hopkins wont come forward and Chad will have to, and having the much better defense will win it for Hopkins.

He is only one dimensional after Hopkins beats him. Before that it was all about how technically sound he was, and about his piston like jab, and how he would KoO anyone from 160-175.
