Honestly, HBO-PPV always makes those nice posters, much better than Showtime. Floy will beat Gatti, that's the expectation.

Chavez-Taylor I presume, only fight that I know that ended in the last 2 seconds. Those two fit the names too (Thunder-Chavez, Lightning-Taylor).

This fight could really go a number of ways, here's the secenario I see:

Mayweather easily outboxes Gatti for twelve and never gets hit with anything heavy and also never trades with Gatti for any extended amount of time. He holds excessively everytime Gatti gets in close and the crowd is in a frenzy because of the lack of action. This will cause Mayweather to become even less respected than he already is. Highly likely that if he doesn't make this fight entertaining, he will never get another large PPV oppty of this stature. Mayweather has a ton more to gain by going toe to toe with Gatti. Even if he loses, the boxing community and fans will respect him and likely be more willing to pay to see him in the future. Secondly, it sets up a rematch which could possibly double his earnings of this fight. If he wins, he outslugged a slugger and has proven he can beat people both ways (yeah yeah the Corrales fight, not a slugfst IMO). Having a perfect record doesn't necessarily make the most lucrative career! Does PBF want his legend on paper, or does he want it in the minds of the people that love the sport. This is his chance.

I'm a huge Gatti fan, and I know he is a better fighter now then he was when he was younger. If by chance he does the unthinkable and knocks PBF out, he cements his legend in history as one of the strongest willed fighters of all time. In my opinion, he is a knockout away from being one of the top 10 most popular fighters ever with the American public. Up there with the likes of Ali, DLH, Tyson, SRL, Mancini, Foreman, Hagler, and Hearns.

Mayweather-Manfredy beat the living **** out of Gatti and Mayweather beat the holy hell out of Manfredy...I dont expect this fight to be more competitive than his fight with DLH....Gatti is a good fighter, but he is stepping in their with the best and Gatti always has trouble with boxers...Mayweather shows no signs of a brawler.

Mayweather with an down home country ass whipping on Gatti...
So then you actually believe that the bull**** theory of fighter A beat fighter B and fighter B beat fighter C so fighter A must be able to beat fighter C huh? Why don't you ask Barrera if that **** was true about Pacman and Morales, or Ali, Frazier, and Foreman. As well as I guess since Roy Jones beat Bernard Hopkins and Hopkins beat Glen Johnson then Roy should whoop up on Johnson right, oh that's right **** don't always work like that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If styles makes fighter, then Mayweather would beat the brawler....

Mayweather is going to simply outbox gatti, but gatti will be a danger to floyd throughout the whole fight because of his power. i dont think mayweather is dumb enough to stand in there with gatti cuz he knows he CAN get hurt. I see Mayweather winning by late round stoppage or unanimous decision
