Gamache was a lightweight like Mayweather. Chances are Gatti is going to have a similar weight advantage in this fight. So really it is a perfect example of what kind of power Mayweather is up against.

I actually couldn't give a hoot what floyd says i am going on facts, and please don't tell me you are trying to compare Gamache with Mayweather.

Yes i've seen the Gamache fight and yes it was a brutal shot, but i will repeat again for starters floyd wouldn't be there when a punch like that is thrown, and i mean if Gatti Stuggles Past a Second String FIghter Like Micky Ward, how can he Have a chance against Floyd, Floyd Is smaller, yes, but he is smarter and mark my words a guy like that isn't undefeated for no reason, mark my words gatti is gonna lose, but hey who cares, Tszyu will whoop them both anyhow after he belts hatton.

Have you seen the Gamache fight? Floyd has never thrown such a brutal punch in his life.
        Mayweather would've dodged and countered.

It is documented that Gatti weighed over the limit going into that Gamache fight anyhow. I'm talking at the weigh in, let alone the night of the fight.

The thing is, people treat it like Gatti is Floyd's toughest opponent. I'm sorry but Corrales was a tougher opponent than Gatti, a more serious threat. This is not Floyd's toughest fight to date. Really not even close. Genaro Hernandez was a harder match than this. Hernandez wasn't some C level fighter, unlike Gatti.

And I personally don't think Gatti can take all of Mayweather's accurate punches. It has been a long time since Gatti has been in with anybody even close to Mayweather's level. What, probably ****ing Ivan Robinson or Manfredy, both of whom Gatti lost to. Yet Gatti is somehow going to beat Mayweather. Okay, we'll see.

Mayweather-Manfredy beat the living **** out of Gatti and Mayweather beat the holy hell out of Manfredy...I dont expect this fight to be more competitive than his fight with DLH....Gatti is a good fighter, but he is stepping in their with the best and Gatti always has trouble with boxers...Mayweather shows no signs of a brawler.

Mayweather with an down home country ass whipping on Gatti...
I actually think if it hadn't been for that huge ass cut on gatti's eye he would have pulled it out against manfredy

Gatti can hit hard enough to turn a fight around with a few punches. I don't think Floyd has the same kind of power, but he has speed and accuracy on his side. Floyd doesn't need to hit as hard, because he can land more punches in better spots. Gatti will definitely have a really tough time in the ring for that fight.

Cut or not that knockdown Gatti took from Manfredy was pretty devastating.

This isn't new news or anything, just my opinion.

Floyd will most likely dance his way to a lopsided decision. However, I do give gatti a slim chance of landing a few hard shots and changing the course of the fight.

Gatti was down early against Manfredy if I remember correctly. So say Gatti did get Manfredy before the cut was too bad. Mayweather destroyed Manfredy in 2 rounds. And Mayweather was at a lower weight. And Gatti probably really weighed like 150 when he fought Manfredy.

Gatti will fight Mayweather, no doubt about that. Don't think he will win though. I personally don't see the power of Gatti. He swing his punches and causes a **** to the head or to the body, they don't seem to have the sharpness of the K.O. punches that for instance Tito has.

Baard in a sense I agree, I do see Mayweather coming out early and trading with Gatti and as in the Corley fight when he tastes Gattis punch he will go into retreat and counter and embarrass him until the end (whenever that may be).

Gatti has a chance and nobody has acted on it when fighting Mayweather. Mayweather carries 140 VERY well and still looks the same as he did at 130 even. Gatti has a strong chance to hurt Mayweather if he goes to the body frequently he doesnt have much meat covering his bones and that leaves him open for danger. If Gatti ****** the body and then went to that chin that really hasnt been tested Gatti might find something that works. But I dont see it happening if Mayweather stays on the outside, like I plan him to do.
