I agree..thats why it went 12...When Floyd would explode it looked like he could KO JMM if he wanted to...if he just went all out on him....but he DIDNT...he BOXED him and used NOTHING but speed and defense.

His handspeed was lighting that night..his size played no factor.....hell some of the fight he GAVE UP his size and was thisclose to JMM at times.

His size didnt play a factor...Floyd dint fight like the bigger man..he made a game of skill..whoever is the smartest and fastest wouldve won that fight....Floyd made his size a non issue..go back and watch the fight..Floyd was all about speed that night.

Weight was a factor because when you are getting hit by a bigger man it makes no difference if he is trying to dominate you with his technical ability rather than his physically strength, he is still able to hit you harder than most people have hit you in your career, that can change your decision on when to attack, how many chances to take, how much pressure you put on, it can change game plans and tactics, fighters like to go out and establish respect!!! when they fight someone to let them know they cant walk in the front door, but when the guy your fighting is a LW who cant hurt you, thus meaning you can take more liberties and apply more pressure knowing that your punches are!! hurting him because he is not a WW then you start to understand.

That is without talking about how he looked in his recent fights, where he clearly looked like he was starting to slide, still a good fighter but not the fighter he was, add a few pounds, turn him into a fat guy with no speed because of the weight then ..........

Mayweather looked spectacular because of all these intangibles.
