Mayweather has probably the best skillset of all time but he didn't take risks and didn't prove himself against the best in the WW division.

Ali fought and beat the best, even past his prime.

and your "ali, who wasn't afraid to give up his body to inflict punishment"] is dumb, do you not understand the sport of boxing? Do you think Ali wanted to take those punches to the head repeatedly? *sigh*.....why do you hate Mayweather for MASTERING THE ART OF DEFENSE?
please man this cat has resorted to fighting jr. lightweights while he weighs in at 160...he had a murderer's row of prime fighters at 140 and managed to avoid them all...floyd avoid get him outta here...the thread starter should be pistol whipped for comparing him to ali...

I think Ali's problem was that against bums, Ali looked a little bummish.

Floyd never looked bummish against bums.

Although both have fought their fair share of bums, Ali's competition was much more dangerous than Floyds.

Floyd still a decent fighter. You can't compare styles as they are very different. But no one is like Floyd and no one is like Ali. Floyd is still prime rib so he can still become much more than what he is.

Nope, there are to many good fighters active right now, that can test how good floyd really is,but he hasn't fought any!!He has looked good against over matched opponents yes,I believe that we need a Cotto or a Mosley on floyd's resume to really see his skillset!!

We should boycott his fights unless they're with top notch boxers lol, so he knows that the fans won't stand for his bullsh**.
