I asked people on here if the fight would have been at 135 or 140 they all said Mayweather would still win, so is it not about skill or do we still want harp on weight.
no it was tune up fight to settle into that weight class and exactly arguello was stepping up because he couldnt fight at 135 anymore all the more reason for that being a legit good win for pryor

im not saying jmm would have beat floyd at 135 but it would have been alot better fight

It was an alright win though for Floyd; JMM is a legit great fighter, Floyd is bigger and that played a role in the fight no doubt but to just say JMM is trash because of the weight is to me disrespectful to JMM.

If anything Floyd probably would have stopped him, Floyd was cat-like quick at 135. Also its about styles, Marquez did what he always do, tried to lay back and counter, well Floyd is a counter puncher too and faster, with hands and feet so Marquez would have had a tough time anyway, he was basically tied on the scorecards with another counter puncher in Casamayor before the KO, Casamayor is alot slower with hands and feet than Floyd.

sorry but i dont need you to tell me how either floyd or jmm fight i watch alot of boxing and past fights

ok well yeah it would have been a better fight at 135 because floyd would strugle to make that weight and wouldnt be at 100% i mean floyd didnt even risk making the 144lbs catch weight in fear that he wouldnt be 100%

ok so as you said jmm strugled at a lower weight against casa an old on the way out casa for that matter but you give floyd credit for beating him 2 weight divisions above his best weight where he strugled somewhat agains casamayor?

im not discrediting jmm im a big fan im just saying this win for floyd is average a win against a top10 WW would have been better

I agree with this. My point is has nothing to do with weight, as I believe Floyd would beat Marquez at his best weight, but beating him at 147 is nothing, and shouldn't really be seen as a big accomplishment.
