Eh, so he's a nice guy. I still can't stand him as a fighter and a champion, though. I don't like Haye's personality much, but at least his fighting style is cool to watch when he gets going.

Btw, how the hell is this guy's name pronounced? I've heard at least 4 different ways to say it...

"VAL-oo-ev" (Russians)
"Val-OO-ev" (American commentators)
"VALOO-yev" (Russians again)

I use the latter, but I'd like to know how he says it. And is it Nikolay or Nikolai, in official Russian?

Who cares, Haye is the reason they can sell this fight. Without Haye, no one cares. His trash talk makes things interesting and builds up the fight.

Ask any boxing promoter who THEY would like more.
