    You Lewis nuthuggers are ******ed.

Vitali dominated Lewis and scared him into retirement. That's a FACT.

Lewis has been ducking Vitali for over 6 years. He is scared to death of Vitali.

Did he or did he not admit Lewis was out of shape?

That's not a credible analogy because boxing doesn't have any rules about who can fight who in a voluntary defence. It's perfectly legit for Valuev to fight Haye, and Haye is ranked in the top 10 by all independent rankings bodies, including The Ring, so it's a legit voluntary defence by any standards, and far more legit than a lot of mandatories. Far more legit, for instance, than Maskaev being made Vitali's mandatory, when he isn't anywhere near being in anyone's top 10.

Nevertheless they didn't have a single fight at the weight they challenged at before fighting for the title.

Haye didn't get the fight because he beat Barrett, he got it because he was the lineal Cruiserweight champion with three belts - and because he knows how to self-publicise.

In his last three and his upcoming fight the Pacman has won two belts and has a chance to win a third in divisions he had never fought in before those particular fights. Well, he fought a wash up Oscar so I guess his fight with Cotto will be his second at the welter limit. So, when the Pacman knocked out Hatton he became the lineal jr welt champ without any other fights in the division and he will most likely never fight in the division again. So, iwill ask were does that leave the fighter rated in that division that may have earned a title shot but the champs are to busy jumping around to various weight divisions fighting super fights?
That's simple. If Pac loses to Cotto, he'll fight at Jnr Welterweight. If he beats Cotto, he'll give up his Ring (and lineal) Jnr Welterweight belt and fight at Welterweight. Just like he gave up his Ring Jnr Lightweight belt.

I hope that the myth about him having stamina problems has now been put to bed once and for all. He was as fresh in the twelfth round against Valuev as he was in the first. As was also the case in his previous 12 round fight. And against Valuev, the 12th was easily his best round, and Valuev nearly went down in it.

I'm not saying his footwork compares with Hopkins', but he's got enough lateral movement to cope with Valuev, IMO.

If you disagree, do you fancy a 20k bet on the fight?
I see you didn't want to bet on it. Shame, I could have done with the points.

I didn't see much wrong with his lateral movement against Valuev.

Your right most mandatories are a joke, but not all of them, and I also believe for the most part they are necessary. As for the lack of rules just maybe that is part of the problem. And I am not going to pretend that I am some kind of an expert and claim I have the answers because I don't I just don't agree with the way things are done. Again I will take a look at the position Adamek currently finds himself in.

Adamek mentions he will now fight as a heavyweight and then he beats a way passed washed Gollata and poof is ranked the number six heavyweight in the world. So, there is a very good chance that all Adamek has to do is sit around and wait for his undeserved shot at the heavyweight title. If your okay with that then that is fine by me I just don't agree with it and I think it is bull****. I am firm if your going to fight for a title, especially the heavyweight title, your should have to do more than talk your way into earning a shot at it. And that is all I have got to say about that. And there is one other item I need to touch on.

For someone who seems to know so much about boxing you were way off base when you claimed that the fighters you mentioned in the you other post had never fought in a particular division before they fought for the title. That my friend could not have been further from the truth. Now in your defense you were correct with a few of your examples but way off on others. I will start with Bob Foster.

Foster fought sixteen times as a heavyweight before he even challenged **** Tiger for the Light Heavyweight title. Included in those sixteen fights were loses to Ernie Terrell, Zora Folley and Doug Jones. Foster then fought six more heavyweight bouts and defended his lightweight title four times before he fought Frazier for the heavyweight title. Next up is Billy Conn.

After winning the light heavyweight title in 1939 Conn fought nine heavyweight fights, to include a win over Lee Savold, before he was knocked out by Louis in 1941. He then fought two more heavyweights before he was knocked out by Louis again. You also mentioned Duran and Benitez. Well, Duran fought twice in the Jr middle division before he fought Benitez. I am not sure how good Duran's opponents were but they had a combined record of 59-2. And one of them by the name of Luigi Minchillo went on to lose a decision to Tommy Hearns and was knocked out by Mike McCallum in the 13th round in world title fights.

In closing I will say, I did not watch the fight, but it sounds as if Haye did what he had to do to win even it it was another snoozer of a heavyweight fight. Now, it seems that many believe Haye will fix the problems within the heavyweight division and I am not so convinced. Because, I believe the biggest reason Valuev never fought the Klit brothers to unify the title goes by the name of Don King. And as long as King has any kind of control over Haye he will not fight the Klit brothers. Simply because King knows if Haye fights them and he loses there goes Don's piece of the pie. So, I believe that after Haye maybe defends against Ruiz and maybe Valuev again the only way he fights either Klit brother is if he gives up the WBA title. Then I believe Haye will lose to one of the Klit brothers and the WBA title will be right back in the vicious cycle of the Ruiz's and other assorted stiffs of the world. And then comes to the end the fairytale story of Haye being the savior of the heavyweight division.
