The most important thing about boxing is THE promotion. This fight is very hard to promote
Why so worried about PPV #'s? As a boxing fan would you rather see a great fight with low #s or see great #s with a weak ass fight?

Boxing is a business before a sport. The numbers of this fight will matter when PBF-Pac is going to be made.

This fights gonna do about 1.5 mill.

I wouldn't be surprised to see it do 2.

Cotto and Pac are huge, and never underestimate the HBO marketing muscle.

They haven't been marketing this fight well at all. Cotto is not huge. Cotto-Margarito numbers were never released. Arum floated some rumors but never backed it up with solid evidence.

This fight will not even get close to 1.5 It is not outselling Oscar - Tito. Dumbass

That did not answer my question. As a boxing fan would you rather see a great fight with low #s or a great #2 with a weak ass fight?

Its being marketed fine. People see it as a great fight. It will sell.

Why the *** do you care about this **** anyway? You getting a cut?

                F@G.

And its a matter of public record that Cotto/Margarito did 500k buys. With nothing more than word of mouth and a countdown show.

                ******.

Great #2 with a weak ass fight

Because this will benefit boxing in the long. More people watching the better. What is the point of a great war when no one watches

Doesn't help that Mayweather/ Marquez was seen as a mismatch, shouldn't that have affected the PPV Buys? Cotto vs. Pacquiao is seen as competitive and rightfully so.

It’s being marketed horribly. Firepower, what the hell is that?? A power ranger
The 24/7 series is stinking up the joint. No one wants to watch Cotto and his fat friends. No one wants to watch Pacman with a bunch of leeches and Roach who cannot construct a sentence with stuttering

Cotto/Margarito numbers were never released officially by HBO or Top Rank.
