I like Miguel Cotto's attitude.

How can some of you guys say Miguel Cotto is over confident and
underestimating when Roach has been making all kinds of statements
about Cotto leading up to the fight? I think Cotto is more confident
then anything. Didn't Manny say not too ago that he was ready for
whatever Cotto will bring to the ring? I think it's only right that Cotto
speak on his own behalf because so many have not even given him a
chance in this fight. I can't wait!

Cotto is doing nothing more than answering some questions and I'm lovin' it. Shows he's got some attitude and something to prove, I'm sure he knows its the biggest fight of his career and perhaps he's making an attempt at selling the fight and himself should he win. With this coming from Cotto I can't wait to see some of the stuff he says about Mayweather should they ever fight. New Cotto FTW.

i like what im hearing. usually cotto never says much but u can tell cotto's pissed by the way hes been disrespected for this fight. not even mexican fans have dissed cotto the way pinoys have. infact just by the warrior he is hes gained many mexican fans who are backing him up in this one. but mostly the way the majority of the boxing community has cotto a 3-1 underdog, all on irrational assumptions; but thats another thread all together. my point is cotto's pissed & ANGRY! & the worst & most dangerous X-factor that a fighter can face in a ring is an angry fighter with a chip on his shoulder. Cotto gonna slaughter manny & its gonna feel great while hes doing it because im gonna think of every single post iv'e read here, pacland, & other boxing sources. i'll say it again, the only ones that wont be surprised by cotto's thrashing of the pacman are the true boxing purist that dont hate on cotto & the true cotto fans that have followed cotto all through his career.....when this fight was first speculated to be done i drooled at the thought of pacman making the mistake of taking the fight. & the cut on the clottey fight was a blessing in disguise because if not for the cut manny would have watched a more dominating cotto & not taken the fight. cotto will get respect by the force, believe that....

This is one fight that I wouldn't put anything on...I think it will all come down to who is able to control the first round or two. But I just can't pick a winner. I am split right down the middle. I was riding with Pacman leading all the way up to this fight, but this past week has given me more confidence in Cotto...Maybe its the 24/7 marketing gimmicks or perhaps Team Cotto just have a winning aura about them. We'll see next week.
