Is it only me or is Cotto talking more trash for this fight compared to past fights?

Yeah, you can tell he's getting a little fired up and angry. I think it's mainly because he feels he's being disrespected because many are tipping a smaller guy to beat him. That and Pacquiao is the "It" guy at the moment, people are talking about him, (and not just boxing fans), he gets more publicity than Cotto etc

I do agree that Cotto is getting angry that he is being disrespected. But that could be a good thing. It will keep him more focused than usual and add extra motivation to prove people wrong. Manny is not the hungrier fighter at this point. He's on top of the world and has a congressional seat waiting for him when he gets back to the Phillipines. I give the intangibles to Cotto in this fight including a better training camp.

roach has got under cotto's skin thats why cotto is talking so much. although i'm not sure its a smart strategy by roach to piss off cotto as much as he has. cotto is still one tough SOB who can beat manny. i like manny to win by tko but dont **** with cotto...
