In the context of which, why no mention of Cloud in your article?By Jake Donovan - The bad news is that we’ll have to wait until next year, at the earliest, to do so. But it’s also the good news. Regardless of where Hopkins or Glen Johnson deserves to be ranked among today’s light heavyweight fray, a Dawson-Johnson rematch as the once-and-for-all solution never fully sat right. [details]

But now that he's beaten Woods convincingly and won a belt, having previously been Dawson's mandatory, he should surely be considered in any article about who Dawson ought to be fighting if he's to be considered undisputed champion.Comment

Dawson will never fight him though, because he's young, hungry, and can punch.Comment

I doubt that very much. I think Cloud would be the overwhelming favourite to beat Pascal. Did you see Pascal's fight against Froch?
And in any case, the fact is that Cloud was Dawson's mandatory for over a year, and if Dawson doesn't fight him soon, especially now that Cloud has easily beaten the guy who gave Johnson three extremely tough fights, and has won the belt Dawson vacated, then it'll look like a blatant duck.
That would be okay provided he fights Cloud after that, but I was objecting to the fact that the article doesn't even mention Cloud among the contenders that Dawson needs to fight in order to be considered undisputed champion.Comment

The winner of Dawson-Johnson II would be rated #1 by the WBC and would be mandatory for the WBC belt. Dawson would be ****** to pass up a mandatory shot for for the WBC title and instead fight Cloud. Dawson will fight Cloud (if he stays in the LHW division), but after he fights the winner of Pascal/Diaconu II.I doubt that very much. I actually don't care which one he fights first, just so he takes both fights. Even if Pascal is a little faster than Cloud, he does not punch as hard. And Cloud is a better body puncher. But like I said, I don't care which one he fights first, as long as he fights Tavoris somewhere down the line. And Rado has a point about Woods. I heard Johnson got ripped off in the draw, but the third fight in which Woods beat Johnson, could've went either way a lot of people say.The winner of Dawson-Johnson II would be rated #1 by the WBC and would be mandatory for the WBC belt.
