in all honesty, ledermans card is often in the same vain as my own views on how the fight is going, ignoring the rest of the HBO crew.

yeah, lederman's card is always really close to the way i score fights. i like harold lederman, even when roy jones was losing bad - agianst Johnson ( and kep in mind that Lederman loves Jones - he once said " If RJJ loved me as much as i love him, we'd be married ( my fav lederman quote)) he had the score lopsided FOR JOHNSON!

Thats cool...I sometimes have the same score he does too (which worries me honestly and makes me question myself) but when it's DLH or Jones or Hopkins (all those famous 'house' fighters ) I see him giving rounds to them that they simply didnt win. I've seen it over and over again. On another note, I'd pay him $50 for 6 hr's of just walking thru his home. He has some of the best collectibles on boxing and fighters that anyone has seen. His yr's in the sport has paid off in more ways than one. He's a pharmacist when he's not on HBO (last I heard) but is a major collector of the sport and has stuff that nobody else has...I'd love to take my time just looking at the stuff on his walls at home!

Hell, we wouldnt be married if she tried to make me get rid of it! Some of that stuff only he has...I remember seeing something on tv once and he took a camera crew thru his home and I sit and slobbered, looking at all his stuff. It's amazing how old some of it is

i saw that same show too, it was on a special tues. night fights or something - no, i remember now, it was a special show about lederman himself.

i had Sturm beating DelaHoya, Sturm got screwed because everyone( me included) wanted to see dlh fight Hops. But the fact is, Sturm won that fight... This was my 666th post, i feel like going to listen to some classic Iron Maiden now, maybe Aces high or Number of the Beast. Next post will be 667, the neighbor of the beast

how often do you think this really happens? not so much with the fighter as much with the judges and promoters and such. i mean with all of the bad decisions we have witnessed in the near past, it seems to me that someone is putting a little padding on thier hip. maybe it could be that some of these judges are 80 years plus and coke bottles ain't got nothing on thier glasses, but it just has seemed a little too suspect for me.

I gave the decision to Sturm too...and so did Harold, which is what flipped me out! Here lately hes done that a time or two (go against the house fighter) so maybe thing's are changing in that regard
