    The Fix Was In!!!

how often do you think this really happens? not so much with the fighter as much with the judges and promoters and such. i mean with all of the bad decisions we have witnessed in the near past, it seems to me that someone is putting a little padding on thier hip. maybe it could be that some of these judges are 80 years plus and coke bottles ain't got nothing on thier glasses, but it just has seemed a little too suspect for me.

I think that **** happens ALL the time. I was scared for Winky when I saw that one of the old man judges was from the Shane vs DLH II fight and scored it like 5 points ahead for Shane. No matter what you thought about that fight I dont know how you could have it that far ahead for Shane. I think judges have to be under 65.

yeah it seems to be the same judges popping up all the time. They need to be pushed out the door for good.

either some of those judges have had a very rough life or they are lying about thier age because i know some of them look more near 100. its bad enough that the best seat in the house is at home watching it on tv, but to have a person that looks like they can barely keep thier eyes open long enough to actually see a punch? i mean some of them look like they could barely keep up with the slowmotion replay. anyways, i think that there are too many fights thrown. thats what this is really about. and those old codgers prolly have great grandchildren, that they need to make sure that thier loser grandchildren can't afford, have food on the table. so i see it easily that alot of todays fights are fixed.

I agree ( posting this without having seen the actual thread...was just trying to contact you ) like Duane Ford and Glen Hamada Old enough to be my grandfathers! surely there are younger ones with better eyesight available? And some of the older one's are probably by now 'set' in their ways, as in they look only for what they like in a fight, etc...Compared to younger ones that might be more open and objective
(Pap, I'll take the time soon to read this thread of yours )

At least the younger judges would be able to see the fight and maybe keep up with scoring punches thrown better than the old fossils i keep seeing at ringside now. i've also heard back in the 50's or 60's when these dinosaurs started they scored fights different then we do now, they gave the champ more points for defending
