"I didn't fight my fight," Baldomir said. "He was too fast. I couldn't"t catch him. When I did catch him, I just wasn't strong. I felt sluggish."

Still Baldomir, who earned a career-high $1.6 million for the fight (Mayweather earned $8 million) felt good about his lot in life.

"It's been a great year. I beat Judah. I beat Gatti. I went up against the pound-for-pound king, I accomplished a lot.'"

Mayweather won on all three judges' cards, with John Keane of England and Chuck Giampa of Las Vegas scoring it 120-108 and Paul Smith of Las Vegas giving one round to Baldomir and scoring it 118-110.

Exactly...and he chose Baldomir instead of Margarito...I don't see a problem with that...Baldomir had a title just like Margarito did...

I blame HBO for him fighting Gatti. HBO always did good with Gatti and gave the fans a treat usually, but Gatti wasn't by any means championship level at that weight. Hell, Gatti got victimized by Angel Manfredy years before at a lower weight who Floyd lit up in 2 round not to mention some others of his notable losses.

So if Chad Dawson turned down B-Hop in order to fight Zsolt Erdei, no one would criticise him for it?

If that's your argument against what I have to say, I will shut up, it's pointless to have a debate against someone as remedial as you, have fun eating PB&J sandwiches on the little yell bus tomorrow.

What a nasty way to twist it, seriously. Baldomir at the time was also a bigger name.

And Baldomir had one victory really, unless u want to go back to the Clottey dq in 1999.

                      To Argentinians maybe.

When Judah signed to fight him, a collective, "who?" was heard.
