Really I thought the Showtime version was pretty biased toward Dirrell with Gus Johnson raving at every little thing Dirrell was doing. It balances out kind of because when Froch did anythig the crowd went nuts.

I still do not see what Froch did to win more then four round but meh, I don't really care to argue about it anymore. Froch did land some punches but most of them were not telling clean blows, while when Dirrell landed it was a clean crisp punch that snapped Froch head back.

The fact remains that Dirrell left it on the judges in another guys hometown where the crowd is roaring at the slightest thing, it is hard to do just enough to win rounds and get the nod. Dirrell fully could have done more as the fight was fought in his style almost exclusively (Froch was not comfortable at all in the whole fight), even though Dirrell lost I know who the better fighter is as he could do much better while I do not see how Froch could do much differently.

Dirrell could be one of the most horrible styles to watch in boxing, but he won that fight in my opinion. Froch fought Dirrells kind of fight, and that is why it was horrendous to watch.

The idea that Dirrell could have done more, I wonder how true that would be?

The close rounds that went to Froch he could have make certain of by doing more offensively, but I wonder how it would have went if he'd been in the pocket more often?

He undoubtably has more boxing skill than Froch (who doesn't?) but I was amazed at how quickly he bled from the nose and mouth after just four rounds of Froch hardly landing. You can point to Dirrell having more success in a toe-to-toe exchange, but over a sustained period I don't think it would have paid off.

            I scored it for Dirrell.

            116-112.

I can't see how anyone can have Froch winning.

As the guy is stinking the joint out here then you could call it close, but I just can't do it, because when he's not acting the **** he's doing lots of good work.
