I still don't get the British hate for Amir Khan. He's young, talented, exciting to watch and fairly likeable for the most part. It seems to me that the hate stems from both the hype that has surrounded Khan since he turned pro and his race. Not that I'm accusing anyone personally of being racist of course.

Khan is not even in the same ballpark as Hamed in terms of arrogance. In fact, considering the sport he takes part in, I'd consider him fairly modest.

I don't have anything against Khan, but perhaps some people aren't buying into the "Man Who Would Be King"/Warren hype, or they don't like it when he makes ignorant statements like, "No 22 year old has done what I'm doing.".
Now I don't live in the UK, but according to some, his ethnicity has something to do with it as well.

I dont know why people are hating on Khan? He is only 22 and has achieved more than most 22 year olds.
Yes he did beat a shop worn barrera, but that is only one fight. He will more than make up for it in future bouts. Cant critisise him for beating barrera. Barrera took the challenge because he thought he could, and failed.
