  • Message to Amir Khan

You've been bitching about wanting to go to America,if you were waiting for the public to give you an answer and help you make a decision here it is:

Go to America,we dont need you,you got a glass chin and you suck. You think people are jealousy of you? For what? You havent achieved anything have you?Britain has had some great champions,if we were jealousy we could have been jealousy of them not you.The British can not be fooled,we know you are crap and we wont buy Frank Warren's claims of your greatness when we know you havent done anything to deserve such accolades, neither will Carl Froch nor any other boxers.

You claim noone has achieved what you have achieved at 22,of course that's crap.Mike Tyson was way bigger than you at that age,by the time Floyd Mayweather was 22 he was a champion already and many more fighters were.If you think you are great start fighting real boxers and if you beat them we will give you respect. We were willing to support you after the olympics, then we discovered you and Warren were taking our support for granted and you were willing to fight bum after bum riding on our support.

I have attended your Breidis Prescott fight and I was among the people who booed you.Every shot you got gave me great satisfaction because that was payback time.Booing is not hatred, critisism is not hatred,it is feedback that we dont agree with you or your claims. At least show some character and fight good boxers or go to America where the fans are even more critical.

In short take your ass to America,we have other Olympians coming up,we dont need you.

Good post, although DeGale and Gavin are going the same way under Warren.

I don't think he reads NSB mate....

And even if he did I doubt he cares what you think.

If u wanted him to fight a puncher, why boo him when he fought Prescott?
Shouldnt u applaud him for taking on the type of fighter he has been protected from?

Few fighters start out there pro careers by facing top notch quality opponents. Theres nothing wrong with building up ur experience by fighting opponents who arent that dangerous. U have to learn ur trade early on rather than jump in and get damaged.

I think its great Khan has continued and learned from his loss.
Its ridiculous for Froch to not support a fellow brit, and criticise Khans last fight, even though he hadnt watched it. Froch says Khan has a boring style, but he also thinks all fighters should just stand there and trade punches. Thats not what boxing is about.

I wish Khan the best, and feel its sad that so many people are criticising him for trying his best in the toughest sport in the world.

All fighters or their representatives read major forums. If you have ever been to a press conference you will know that the majority of accredited journalists will be coming from online papers and all commentators always quote the views of forum users. If you knew your marketing you would know by now the impact of forum users among other things. These guys also monitor articles written about their fighters because they have endorsements like Reebok for Khan values of which are based on the exposure he gets on TV,Radio,Press Conferences, didgital media (which includes this).

As for him caring what I think,he sure does that's why he's talkinf about relocating. He knows he's a very unpopular **** so he cares about all these views.Mind you no journalist has openly critisised him, just a few fighters and the boos at his fights and comments people write after every article of his.

Way too harsh, I don't get the Khan hate. Khan has achieved a lot for such a young age by any measure. You say fight good fighters, but he's already upped his competition. Khan beat Kotelnik to win a world title. He beat an admittedly old Barrera but Barrera only previously lost to Pacquiao, Marquez, Morales and Junior Jones. All of them were elite fighters. I think Salita is Khan's next opponent who is an undefeated fighter.

This will actually be the 2nd undefeated fighter Khan has faced, Prescott being the first. Floyd Mayweather has only fought 2 undefeated fighters in all his 40 fights combined. Hatton only fought 3 undefeated opponents in 47 fights. Khan is fighting his second undefeated opponent in only his 23rd fight. Kotelnik and Barrera are a huge step up from his previous competition and Khan beat them both. I don't get the hate, it's not logical so there must be some ulterior motive whether it's his race, personality or just jealousy in general. You can't really expect the kid to be thrown in with the best of the best yet, he's only had 22 fights but Salita is a very respectable opponent anyway so...?

You can only expect so much from a lad of his age. He has achieved much since the Olympics. He was too young and too experienced to be thrown in with pit bulls. you can't be too critical of Frank Warren for trying to protect him, whilst protecting his own business interests. Amir Khan is not the most intelligent boxer or the most articulate. But, I do believe that his comments have been manipulated by the press to some degree. There is an influx of racially motivated media on TV in the UK at the moment and this is an abstract bonus. Let's be fair, I don't see the greatness in Khan either, and to be honest after seeing him knocked out in under 60 seconds, my expectations have practically evaporated. But he's picked himself up, and a world title and continues to march forward. Respect where it is due...

It would probably be in your best interest not to make 'Floyd' comparisons... Not where Amir Khan is concerned. Think about it!!

No he isn't, he's not even a top 50 fighter.

lol.. Hatton and Mayweather were the first examples which sprung to mind, but I know what you mean, Floyd isn't the most adored personality out there for various reasons.
