HBO is trying to put a 140 lb tourney together

If HBO wants to make it last all year then just make it double elimination.

1 vs 2
3 vs 4

Winner vs. Winner
Loser vs Loser

Then do Loser of the winner bracker vs the winner of the loser bracket

Then have the top dog face off against that winner, then a rematch if needed.

Could be 6 or 7 fights and would give each guy ample oppurtunity to win as one loss doesn't spell the end.

They should have all 4 belts on the line, get the winners to fight each other, and the losers can have their own 'secondary' tournament which will determine number one contenders all round.

Now that would kick ass.

I think i like the round robin approach more though, you'll get the best out of each fighter and with this tourney most of the guys are young and can develop right before our eyes.

Yea could have each guy fight the other 3 then have the two top guys face off again in the end.

3 vs 4

Then have a rematch between the two top guys for the grand prize.

Hopefully this gets done..i know yall mad about ortiz name in there,but lets be real,he does put bad ass fights.so if he quits hes out of the tournament,simple as that.this will get alot of attention in the media from britan for amir khan and u.s for ortiz and alexander.this will make whoever the winner a star.
