Quitor Ortiz does not deserve to be in the tournament.

It is up to him what he does with it.
I see where you are coming from, but I think after his last fight, and the comments he made after it, something like this might be too much for him. I would just like to see him have a few confidence building fights and let him see if this is really what he wants to be doing with his life.

I know in an earlier post I said they should get Urango and Bradley in on it, but after some thought, I've got no problem leaving Urango out. However, I think if they want to have a tournament that will yield an undisputed champ, Bradley, if he beats Peterson, should be apart of it. However, they'd have to lure him away from Showtime.

That is the whole thing Ortiz is really the only guy that has been an HBO staple so him being involved is what it is, it is a good break for him that he is in tight with HBO after what happeaned but it is just an oppurtunity so it is on him to do something with it.

He does have a fight with Antonio Diaz on HBO comming up so I am sure he would have to win that to be involved so it is not like he would be comming off that loss straight away.

Bradley is pretty much established and if he can get by Peterson even more so, to me this tourney is about establishing another guy leave Bradley out and lure him over with a fight with the winner that would be a fairly big fight I reckon.

If someone is not down and bugs out throw Urango in there he is a proven vet and not that old.

this is good, not floyd can't fight any jr WWs if they are involved in the tourney.

ortiz getting in this tournament is equivalent to george bush getting into yale. they both didn't deserve it but had friends in high places.

Now if they'd just do a LW tourney, we'd be in good shape.

What's sad is Ross Greenburg is such a idiot he doesn't even understand how many amazing fights he could get in the lighter divisions for very little money.I bet you could put on a 8 man single elimination tournament at jr welter for less than the 10 mill it cost HBO for De La Hoya vs Forbes.
