After Khan had beaten Kotelnik and Maidana had beaten Ortiz, Khan and Roach rejected an offer to fight Maidana on Dec. 5

The reason they rejected fighting Maidana was because Maidana has not really made a name for himself, well yes he did by beating Ortiz. But fighting Maidana now would not be as lucrative down the line if Maidana continues to perform.

Roach did say, that Maidana is a high-risk/low-reward, therefore, he'd like Maidana to build himself up even more, so they get paid more $$$$ for the trouble down the line.

kotelnik was ranked higher at 140 than taylor was ranked at 168.

taylor had 1 win in his last 3 fights before fighting froch. taylor has now lost 4 of his last 5. that 1 win being against a shot jeff lacy.



give me a break. froch is a joke. he should have lost his last fight , pretty sure he'll lose his next one.

I actually cannot believe some people are trying to suggest Khan is a better champion that Froch. It's pure hate of Froch - that's it. A hard working guy who has given us some really great fights and made two successful defences against top opposition.

Meanwhile Khan was starched within one minute of the bell sounding by a unknown bum and was then hand-fed a title after that DISGRACEFUL night against the old Mexican legend.
