don't ya worry brah.Make drama or not tha fact is that even Roach was concerned on how Pacman was getting hit so often. Didn't you notice how he spoke to Pacman after the sparring section saying that he need to be treating the sparring section as it was the real fight and how the sparrings partners were doing what they were getting paid for. Apparently Pacman was a little frustrated with the situation.
True that we didn't see the whole sparring sections but the way that Roach adrressed and aproached Pacquaio, at least for that day, it didn't look to good.
manny is exuding confidence.
he's just showing his light side and mood.
i wonder why hbo didn't show the sparring seesions where manny is hard on his partners,..like when he dropped proter twice in one session.
any hint of psychological ploy ??
why would freddie complain so openly about manny's sub-par training??!!
manny will be intense in 24/7's last installment....
and more intense come fyt nytComment

Just telling FreddyKruger that this particular sparring section was for real and was no drama made up by HBO base on how Roach addressed the issue.
Not all the sparring sections will be perfect, I understand that, and that's what trainers are there for, to capture and correct any possible mistakes and probably there were no footage of the best sparring sections from Pacman because not all of them are allowed to be filmed. If you noticed Cotto has not allowed any footage at all come out from sparring sections just pics. This is probably stategy to not give away what is their gameplan or not to show any of the flaws they are working on. It works both ways,
However, this is the 1st time I hear that Pacman dropped Porter, and you say he did it twice????
If it would had been another poster I would seriously doubt that and would say ou are making it up, but being that it is you (brah) i'll give you the benefit of the doubt.
Both fighter will be okay fight night!!!Comment

good post, that is a good selling point to this fight, i dont know why they are not making more of it, this is what boxing is all about.Quoted for emphasis:
Final Thoughts:
Last week, in the final thoughts, the following was offered: If this show failed, and it has three episodes to correct it, it was in the lack of perspective given to Pacquiao’s career. It was a similar problem in the 24/7’s for his bouts with Oscar De La Hoya and Hatton. The full scope of what Pacquiao has done, and is attempting to do, is not being fully conveyed. Pacquiao’s status as a ‘pound for pound’ leader was mentioned. Not once in the show was it noted that Pacquiao is challenging Cotto for a title in a seventh weight class, a feat never seen even in this watered down era of ‘belts for all.’
The same problem was on hand this week. Okay, fine, this is about getting into the fighters lives before they get in the ring. However, the stakes in the ring are actually interesting. This is a show about boxers training for a fight…might it not interest at least some potential viewers to know the historical ramifications of the fight? Of what Pacquiao has done over the last ten plus years?
HBO used to kill when it came to that stuff. It would do a segment back in the day on Mike Tyson’s personal life AND a comparison to something like Joe Louis’s reign of terror in the 30s. Where is the context here? A former Flyweight champion is challenging for a piece of the Welterweight title…against a really good Welterweight (at a catch weight but still)…and is favored to win.
Koncz-Ariza is more interesting than that? Really? It’s like the NFL pumping up a Green Bay-Minnesota game but forgetting to talk about Brett Favre’s years in Green Bay.Comment

Fact of the matter is that Manny Pacquiao and Miguel Cotto are
both boring ass dudes but in the ring they get it in. That's why
24/7 should be focusing more on talking about the actual fight
coming up then their personal lives.Comment
