HBO should let DAWSON join the SUPER SIX

HBO should make DAWSON fight somone under the AGE of 40 for ONCE and someone who isn't on the DOWNHILL then you will see how good DAWSON really is.

Yeah if I were Dawson I would want in on this too.
But you can't really call Dawson the best super middleweight in the world if he wins the tournament because he's not really a super middleweight, he's a light heavy. I would put the winner of Bute-Andrade in over him.

IF Dawson continues to fight relative unkowns like Johnson and maybe Tarvoris Cloud and stuff, then his star power is barely going to grow. He will never be a draw.

HOWEVER, if they risk letting him into the tourney, and he WINS, which he could definetly do, then you're talking about a star in the making and some1 who could draw a crowd.

So by the time HBO gets him back, he could actually be somebody that brings in ratings

HBO ain't gonna do it.... it means their fighter is making another company money.

Dawson might not be willing to go to 168 anyway. I remember Kessler wanted to fight him at a catchweight last year.

No, he'll stick to fighting old men.

I heard he's trying to get Tommy Hearnes out of retirement for a HBO fight in 2010, or we may see Dawson-Tarver III..

before this is even a discussion someone has to drop out of the tourny. then Showtime has to figure out how to rank the new fighter in the round robin.
This will NEVER happen. Taylor isnt going anywhere the money is too good.

Dawson at 168 at this point is ******. If anyone should join the super six, it should be a ranked 168 pound fighter.

I'm getting tired of people hugging Chad Dawson's nutsack. He has to get by Glen Johnson first, and that is no given. You want him to fight smaller guys to avoid a big puncher like Cloud.

He has himself said he would be interested in joining the super six.

And if he can make 168 he can make it.

And I think him beating Glen Johnson is a given. I dont think Johnson has any shot at winning, although he will put up a good entertaining fight as always

before he can even consider fighting in the Super 6, Dawson needs to finish his tour of fighting senior citizens.

this rematch with Johnson should finish it up, unless its a draw or Chad loses and wants a third fight.
