HBO should let DAWSON join the SUPER SIX

I know HBO has some sort of deal where they have rights to his next few fights or something, BUT they should make some sort of deal where they get him back AFTER the tournament.

This is why:

IF Dawson continues to fight relative unkowns like Johnson and maybe Tarvoris Cloud and stuff, then his star power is barely going to grow. He will never be a draw.

HOWEVER, if they risk letting him into the tourney, and he WINS, which he could definetly do, then you're talking about a star in the making and some1 who could draw a crowd.

So by the time HBO gets him back, he could actually be somebody that brings in ratings

Well after Johnson he can fight the winner of Pascal-Diaconu and if he wins. Then he can fight the winner of Jones-Hopkins. And, if he wins it would give him more star power than what the SMW tourney would

HBO wouldnt risk that..IF dawson joins the tourney and gets ruined who would wanna see him fight big fights on HBO? Its not likely to happen, him getting beat i mean but its still possible..they wouldnt risk it

Yeah. i don't see how it elevates the LHW champ to go beat smw's. Including a guy who JUST moved to SMW.

Is that really a serious question? The difference is that Dawson would go down to SMW. If Floyd would of fought JMM at 135 I dout anybody would have a problem with that. I know I wouldn't...

I'm getting tired of this talk of him being in this tournament. He needs to beat Johnson more decisively than he did the first time to prove he deserves it. Has that happend yet? No.

I don't think HBO have a say in the matter. After Nov 7th Dawson is a free agent again as far as tv rights are concerned. He was only signed up for two HBO fights I thought.
