David Tua looking for a big pay-day

David Tua should have taken a smaller pay against Arreola and got his name bigger that way. Does David Tua even realize most ppl don't know who the **** he is other then the guy who Americans seen get pounded by Lennox Lewis for 12 rounds?

I've had talks with ppl who love boxing and had to show them clips of Tua to show them what a beast he truly is. Most of Tua's fights that ppl know of are the ones he actually lost in. Arreola has a huge Mexican fan-base and that would have been a huge publicity fight for Tua... Tua has a horrible management team and he can also blame himself for this ****.

Those guys are too big for him. If Haye wins the WBA belt, he the one fat boy needs to go after. Tua would KO Haye.

He should have went after Arreola, it would have made his name blown up. People don't really remember you for your losses like Tua. Having conversation with some boxing fans and I said David Tua, and they didn't even know who he was until I showed him pictures and movies and they're like ohhh the guy who lost to Lennox Lewis.

          I don't know about this.

He will never get a WBA shot for years due to everyone queuing up and him not being rich enough to pay them all off.

He is ranked by the WBO, so that route leads to Wlad, but again, there is a bit of a line up for that, Tua needs to fight at least a top 20 guy, Sam Peter would be my pick

He'd get more credit beating Arreola most likely since Arreola showed a big heart against Vitali. And what Sam Peter showed in that fight against Vitali is that he knows how to quit on the stool...

The only other person to beat Arreola is the great Vitali, so I don't know why the **** Tua and his dumb ass promoter stayed away from a fight that could have possibly gotten him a shot at one of the klitschkos. Do they feel they can't beat Arreola?

Tuas best dats were 10 plus years ago. If he couldn't beat Lewis in his prime he is certainly not going to beat the brothers. Tua should retire.

The Tua that fought Lewis is far from the prime Tua. The Tua that fought Lewis was plodding and out of shape.

Well David just needs to phone Oliver McCall's people up and a fight could be arranged.

That seems like you're saying Lewis in his prime was worse than the Klitschkos, when in fact an out of prime Lewis beat a prime Klitschko. For goodness sake get real. They're good, but stop the ball hugging.

Funny that... I bet those same boxing fans you converse with didn't know who Arreola was till he beat... who? Whitherspoon? Walker? I remember him for his interview after the Vit fight. lol
