Miguel Cotto is Too Strong For Pacquiao, Says Chavez

Remember that fight that Juan Manuel Lopez had with Freddie Roach's
other filipino fighter Gerry Penalosa? That's how I think Cotto/Pacquiao
is going to go but more competitive. Cotto size and skill will be enough
I think. The reason I am not so sure about Manny is that he is not really
a big puncher compared to what Cotto has felt and he just doesn't display
defense that well. If Cotto comes to the ring with his A game, I ssee no
reason why he can't beat Manny. With that said, can't sleep on Manny
because he does have the ability to shock but with all due respect his
last 3 opponents wasn't that competitive and no matter what and how
I feel about Cotto over all skill, he does pack a punch and fights his
heart out, taking punishment to give it so Manny better be ready
to go all out because his speed will not be a factor, he's going to
have to hurt Cotto, pressure and back him up.

dont get caught up in the hype, nobody's invincible. cotto will KO the pacman, but thx to all the hype cotto will finally get the respect hes due....cotto & puerto rico's glory will not be deniedLast edited by BIGPOPPAPUMP; 10-31-2009, 12:06 PM.

Chavez,we don't pick guys up in a clinch and throw them to the groung in Boxing. That tactic can't help Cotto.Cotto simply needs to be sharp and needs to quick on his feet.I hope Cotto doesn't listen to this guy Chavez and come into the ring like a big Frankenstein, and try to just overpower Manny. This is one fight that Cotto needs to be his smartest in the ring.Cotto needs to know when to be a smart counter puncher and when to be the bigger man.
