They always do that BS...they've done it with Floyd,Sugar (Bert Sugar) and a few more.

    • This Fight Is About Power Vs. Agility

..this will be like a Nascar Chevrolet racing againts a Subaru STi on a F1 race track. Would you put money on versatility or power? Cotto thinking that he is stronger than Pac is going to be his down fall.

I think. The reason I am not so sure about Manny is that he is not really
a big puncher compared to what Cotto has felt and he just doesn't display
defense that well. If Cotto comes to the ring with his A game, I ssee no
reason why he can't beat Manny. With that said, can't sleep on Manny
because he does have the ability to shock but with all due respect his
last 3 opponents wasn't that competitive and no matter what and how
I feel about Cotto over all skill, he does pack a punch and fights his
heart out, taking punishment to give it so Manny better be ready
to go all out because his speed will not be a factor, he's going to
have to hurt Cotto, pressure and back him up.
its not even right to compare penalosa to pac.....jesus!!

Hmmm must have missed it? By the way they buddy when you are born in the US you are American aside from your heritage. Mexico boxing is dead as we know but I'm offended when you call those fighters Mexican and I am not even Mexican. Second, What real Mexican boxers quit other than those two you mentioned? Which I'm sure there's a few regardless of race, cmon its 2009 boxing it ain't what it was where it was about the sport not so much the money ( missing the warriors) :sigh:. Third it's recently! Your the funny one homie ....
          then lets say eric morales???

cotto being weight draned at 140 is a fact not an excuse. Another example of a drained fighter is Oscar de la hoya @ 147 against pac
another fact pac was weight drained when he faught marq last year......

WTF! What kind of an analogy is that? Penalosa was much older than Lopez and if he was any younger he would have given JuanMa a run for his money. And I can assure you Pacquaio is NO Penalosa and what does Cotto have aside from being bigger than Pacquiao? Cotto won against Clottey because Clottey played to lose not to win as he gave up a lot of precious won rounds to Cotto.

What I can tell you is Cotto is going to experience a helluva fight. If you think Cotto can just muscle his way to victory just because he is the bigger fighter you're terribly mistaken dude. And when all is said and done Cotto's ass will be whipped by Manny on Nov.14 and you can't do anything about it boy.

Prepare your damn excuses after fight: Cotto was drained at 145, Cotto is not the same fighter as he was before the Margacheato fight, Cotto did overtrain, etc etc

Give Manny enough credit please coz he definitely deserves all the accolade for being a great champion. Go Manny and kick Cotto's but so we can prove to those idiots that little man, big man thing is nothing but CRAP.

dont get caught up in the hype, nobody's invincible. cotto will KO the pacman, but thx to all the hype cotto will finally get the respect hes due....cotto & puerto rico's glory will not be denied
First - nobody is denying the fact that Pac has losses by knockout for whatever reasons but one thing for sure it is valid. And it became a lesson to Pac and he learned from it.

2nd - since Cotto has never been KO'd, this would rather play a reverse effect that can happen to Cotto

3rd - Pac's skills was just speed just BUT that was on the beginning to mid of his career, dude you must open your eyes and mind in order to see the difference between pac 10 or more yrs ago than now.

4th - Pac is not a hype, he is the 1st boxer to have titles in 4 lineal weight divisions, it's already written in boxing history books and you cannot deny that fact!

                    5th - fought FOH boxers like Morales,Barrera,Marquez,ODLH & Hatton(?)

6th - he's gunning for his 7th weight division title!

7th - there's so much hate in you dude, lighten-up you might have heart attack or stroke and might end up in a coma or coffin!

Yes, pacquiao got the decision but we all know he lost. If you want to say cotto lost to clottey, fine. But remember clottey is a big welterweight who makes soooo many fighters look bad in their wins. Also, clottey can beat ANY pacquiao opponent with no problems. If you want to be in denial, fine. Remember, Clottey ALMOST beat margarito 2 years before nargarito vs clottey.

Cotto has tremendous power against true welterweights, pacquiao does not. Pacquiao almost lost to marquez, who got destroyed by a TRUE welterweight (floyd). Common sense people.
JMM is more a skilled boxer than Cotto. You can't deny that fact dude!

What if JMM is a true WW? JMM vs Cotto?

                      JMM >>>>> Cotto
