At the time, floyd did what he was supposed to do and fought the the top 2 guys of the division. Cotto wasn't even there yet, he hadn't beaten mosley yet and was just as green as he was when he was at 140. And even he is yet to beat a champion, all his belts have come from vacant titles as well.

U can't diss baldomir for seizing his opportunity and becoming champion. Baldomir earne dhis shot at floyd in the ring and not some hype like margarito tried to do. If you want the top guy to fight you. Then beat somebody to get to him and baldomir did that.
At that time everyone had Margs as the most avoided fighter and the most dangerous blah blah blah
that is what made him a threat bro
he had hype and Floyd refused to fight him
    why?
cause he does not take on real challenges.
I think Floyd would wipe the floor with margs but we will never know until he fights him and he didnt
now he says the margarito that got destroyed by mosley
no Floyd its the margarito that you avoided
the margarito you could have destroyed but chose the easier route

    its not about belts bro
its about fighting the best top level comp and floyd has not done that since Corrales

Floyd will make a move in December, i hope it's either the winner of Cotto-Pac or Mosley and not Berto, Juan Diaz or Saul Alvarez.

It'll be Paulie Malignaggi after he gave Juan Diaz a "boxing lesson" in december.

Wouldnt that avoid alot of questions and make him look good?
There's many reasons why Floyd won't say who he wants next. Many of the ones everyone knows, but I do know that he doesn't want it clearly to be known that he's just really interested in Pacquiao.

They're playing a game of who needs who the most and if he shows he's only interested in Pac then he would have to settle for Pacquiao's demands and that something he wants to avoid.

Name one fighter in the world he would be a significant underdog against?

Why does Ellerbe or Haymon have a say
they are just there to crunch numbers and give massages

so if he is his own boss why doesnt he just come out and say this is who I want make it happen.
Thats what oscar did and he made it happen
He says that because he does not know who he is going to fight next. Right now I am assuming it is between Mosley and the winner of Cotto v Pac. He needs to wait for nov 14 in order to determine which direction he will go in.

Nobody. He would be favored againt anybody. That is because he is the best fighter in the world. This whole "he has never been an underdog" nonsense is just bull**** that makes zero sense.
Floyd would be favored against Mosley, Cotto and Pac.

he is just saying that to avoid answering the question. and it's not because he is scared, its just a negotiation tactic.

floyd has fought so many great fighters, he doesn't need to duck anybody, he is just fighting for money now.
