At the time, floyd did what he was supposed to do and fought the the top 2 guys of the division. Cotto wasn't even there yet, he hadn't beaten mosley yet and was just as green as he was when he was at 140. And even he is yet to beat a champion, all his belts have come from vacant titles as well.

U can't diss baldomir for seizing his opportunity and becoming champion. Baldomir earne dhis shot at floyd in the ring and not some hype like margarito tried to do. If you want the top guy to fight you. Then beat somebody to get to him and baldomir did that.
