Shane don't fight everybody. Shut up Jack! LOL!

Shane was CORNERED into fighting Vernon Forrest. Vernon was long overdue for his shot at Shane. Shane had finally run out of BUMS to fight. Shane should have Vernon immediatley after he beat De La Hoya.

Shane fought Tono Diaz (a fighter that came up from 140 to fight Shane at 147), Adrian Stone (a bum) and then some Aussie bum.

As a tuneup to Oscar, Shane fought WILLIE WISE, a 3rd shift Petsmart worker.

So please tone the rhetoric of this "Shane fights everyone" bs talk down.

it depends because alot of fighters if they want to keep those alphabet belts they had to fight bums if they were the number one contender for his belt so if he wanted to keep it he had to fight them to get his mandatory out the way otherwise he would be stripped of his belt so in those instances i can see why he would be fighting nobodies

Like he said, Cotto was looking better in the fight.
More punches does not guarantee you a win, you should know that.
dont tell him nothing (in my best roger mayweather impression) he doesn't know **** about boxing

Vernon wasn't a mandatory, he was a Champion. Therefore, Shane did not HAVE to fight him. He fought him because he was the only fighter left at 147 that could even speak his name since he Vernon beat him in the amateurs. Shane made the fight because he wanted to beat Vernon. And after he lost, he took the immediate rematch.

Just like he didn't have to fight Winky. He had a major fight against Trinidad lined up. If he didn't fight Winky, most of you still wouldn't know his name.

He has chosen to fight less than the stiffest opposition, and if you want to argue that point, prove me wrong! I was a fan, so this isn't hate! But since he came up to140 or heavier, he has fought no elite fighter in his prime! Choosing to beat fighters he knew and even fans knew he was far superior to! His skills are even superior to elite fighters at 147, but be has not yet or seems likely that he will in the future prove that in the ring! Only one reason y, no heart! And in my opinion and I stress opinion, no heart = coward!
And to co-sign, the only True WW Floyd has fought since moving to 147 was BALDOMIR. Mitchell, Judah, Hatton, and JMM were not welterweights. And Oscar was done. You mean to tell me this was the best Fraud could come up with since he jumped to WW?

Neither of those guys were WW's ass. Hatton was forced to move up and JMM wasn't even supposed to be at 147 but Floyd didn't make the weight. Lets be real man, neither of the two guys you just mentioned fought at 147 EVER until the Mayweather fights, there weren't WW's PERIOD.
