Paul went after easier opponents in order to get a fight and it back fired because he is offering ****ty money. The guy starts to get desperate and decides that his last option is Clottey. WHY? Paul is a ***** who is trying to get up upper hand on Clottey. Clottey is only going to train for 5 weeks and Paul has been training since the summer. Now that the fight probably won't go down, if Paul Williams has a pair he should really push back the date of Nov. and fight Clottey. If Paul cannot fight someone legit for the Nov. date and decides to push the date back and still avoid Clottey then just some cowardly ***** **** for Paul.

You seriously don't know what you are talking about. The DATE is Dec. 5th and Clottey was schedule to fight Quintana on the undercard so how can he be out of shape?

I knew there was more to this. Williams team seem to be more intent on claiming that fighters are "ducking" them rather than actually fighting them.

Just last week, after the Pavlik pull out, Williams claimed he had no interest in fighting Clottey because he brought nothing to the table. Now suddenly he lowballs him after Clottey has stopped training just so he can say Clottey is ducking him. Gimmie a break.

Where would the fight have taken place? Williams is the ****, but he cant draw flies to **** and Clottey atleast has somewhat of a following in NY. If The fight were to have taken place there, then I could see Clottey's position, but anywhere outside, well, just WHO produces the bigger numbers?

Some of PWill fans are blinded by constant nut hugging. It's simple give Clottey 8 weeks to prepare for the fight and it is sealed/done. All Joshua said was for 5 weeks the money was low and he is right. If they can not pay him more move the fight 8 weeks away and lets get this fight

LOL..It would be his biggest money fight to date. Why should PWill move his date for a 3rd time? HBO decides the dates NOT the fighters. Don't understand why Clottey thinks he is a draw. Wasn't this the same guy HBO turned down for fighting Williams before because he priced himself out of it. Should be lucky HBO is willing to accept him as an opponent this time.

5 weeks is enough time..if you get right to it. But the more he wishey washes...the less time he will have to train.

The truth is that Paul Williams is overrated.Larry Merchant owned the myth that everyone was ducking Paul Williams,during Williams entrance in his fight with Winky Wright.Williams originally turned down the middleweight champion Kelly Pavlik to fight a rusty,inactive 37 year old Winky Wright.

Paul Williams was exposed badly in the Carlos Quintana fight,Williams didn't have a bad night,Quintana if anything had a bad night in the rematch.I learned alot more in the twelve round ownage of Williams by Quintana,than I did in a fluke one round stoppage of Quintana.


Williams will keep stalling Clottey until he's been out of the ring for almost two years and then fight him.The fact that some idiots have Williams on their top ten P4P list is just embarrasing.

Even worse is that Piss dub actually think's he's a draw and a star for beating an inactive,rusty 37 year old Winky Wright lol.
