Maybe not. Manny is a more explosive puncher. Cotto breaks you down, he'd probably have TKOed Ricky.

David Diaz? Diaz has an iron chin and he got flattened. JMM was dropped once and hurt another from head shots. Morales was dropped from head shots.

Both of them beat up and bruise opponents, the difference is when Cotto stops them it's usually from a body shot, while Pacquiao does it from a head shot.

I'm not saying Pac hits harder, but his speed, explosiveness, and style is what gets him those highlight reel KO's. There's more to 1 punch knockouts than power.

Hatton getting dropped is the product of him being a one dimensiona fighter. Obviously not a lot of people remember how Roach said the were going to focus on a couple of punches and angles , and he said one of the main one was the "LEFT HOOK" , he said he had seen the effectiveness of how that punch landed against hatton , and how they were going to focus on it. Mayweather dropped him with a left hook , after studying him. and he dropped him with a beatifully placed and timed left hook , and you can say Pacquiao had the map to the victory he just followed it. And that was exactly what happened. Again hatton being dropped the way he did it is only product of him not having any type of defense and knowing only one way to fight. I dont think either Evangelista Cotto or his new trainer were as smart as Roach , but im pretty sure the left hook from Cotto would have finished him eventually , but I cant say Cotto would have done it as fast , Pacquiao's left hook had so much speed and explosiveness behind it , the angle , the timing , was so important for that ko. Thats why Pacquiao is the fighter he is.

Cotto would hav retired him for good, he wouldn't even be thinking of a comeback.

Diaz took punishment for round after round, before he eventually got KO'd.

I think the Hatton KO was unexpected and unusual for Pac. But if Pac could do it, Cotto also could. If he loaded up, and Hatton walked onto it, its lights out.

No, but he woulda KO'd his ass. A lotta Pac's power comes from his speed.

Probably not. Maybe a TKO or a late round KO.

Clottey shook his punches off and pretty much straight up told Cotto he wasn't doing ****. People over rate Cotto's power.
Man I understand you are a pac fan but why discredit cotto. Most of the fighters who have fought cotto say he has a powerful jab. It snapped mosleys head all night and stopped him every time he was coming in and mosley fought at middle weight. Hell he put alphonso gomez down with a jab and gomez was a middle weight during the contender. Was he "slipping" too
