    The hate is ridiculous.
So many fighters have taken knees and are not known as quitters.
Zab, Corley, Gatti and plenty more.
But these guys love to single out Cotto.

Cotto really didn't have anything left. Unlike like others that weren't hit by plaster, but really did quit. Theres hasn't been a boxer that has gotten a beating like Cotto in many years.

THANK YOU!!! You forgot to add Morales in the third Paq fight. He wasn't even hurt, he just went down and shook his head. People just find ANY reason to hate Cotto. Yes, he did say he quit for his benefit and for his families benefit. His father also said he was bleeding from his eyes and ears... when the hell was the last time a boxer was bleeding from their eyes AND eyes? Cotto I'm sure knew or felt if he kept on fighting he might have well died in that ring. Again BLEEDING from the EAR in a fight where you wear GLOVES... yea, like no one on here wouldn't have done the same thing. ****, Mayweather wouldn't even get into the ring with Margarito and Cotto gets **** for simple admitting he had nothing left to give. A real man puts his pride aside for the benefit of his family and that's exactly what I think Cotto did, nothing but respect to that man.

Its ok ..these dummies are the couch fighters, who really know nothing about boxing, fighting, or being a warrior.
You can always tell the haters, they stay on the same subject always trying to put a good fighter down.

When you have kids, your pride is insiginificant in terms of their well being.

That being said, Pacquiao will not be able to bring Cotto to that zone, I'm convinced that Margarito had rigged gloves in that match, never have I seen someone's face shred like that in the ring it's not even like he landed some huge blows in that fight either.

Even if you minus the hand wrap business. Margarito had to eat some big shots to do that kind of damage to Cotto. Pacquiao would not be able to eat the same blows.

You serious? Erik Morales was seeing stars and good thing Kenny Bayless caught him behind the neck when he tried to stand up on his own accord and almost fell backwards again. Morales is a fighter, if he can hide the fact that he's really hurt and can't continue, he will...

If Pac takes a knee will you call him a quitter? I bet not.
You're only hoping he doesn't. If Pac wouldn't quit if he was in Cotto situation he would get knocked out. But I got to admit that a fighter that takes on all opponents no matter how dangerous they are isn't a quitter. Not Cotto or Pacquiao are quitters their just being human.
