Agreed! Cotto has nothing left. If they had let the fight go he would have been seriously hurt. Blood was coming out from his nose, mouth and ears. He was done. Smart move for the fight to be stopped!

No way Cotto ends the Manny fight on his own volition. He wasn't just discouraged against Margarito, he was taking a woeful beating. Manny won't put the same amount of pressure on him.

Two knees for each hand of Margarets plaster punches.

If he feels his long term health is at risk then he'll quit and he'll be right to do it. Boxing is a sport and people need to be able to walk out of that ring, win or lose.

What does that mean in the boxing world ?

Answer: He will QUIT again !

He is hoping he won't go back to the place Margo took him, its always easier to QUIT QUICKER the next time.

This principle has been proven in Life many times many ways.

Pacmang will take Cotto to the unknown zone after 7 and Cotto will QUIT. The only thing to stop it is a lucky punch by Cotto or Cotto gets KO'd early.
Cotto won't quit, the ref will stop it after the 3rd KD or something. People are underestimating Pacquiao sheer POWER. He has allot of it.

Cotto will never ever say "I quit", he would rather say "no mas por favor".

Pacquiao and Margarito are two totally different things.
