Top rank didnt want oscar in a rematch with Whittaker even though one was promised by all party involve, Like someone else said the risk was greater than the reward for oscar and they decide against it.

This was against a coked up Whittaker mind you and oscar still struggled, Pernell had a style where most would have struggled against and even when you beat him you dont come out looking good.

Outlanded Oscar and yeah he did make Oscar look foolish at times cuz he was bobbing and weaving at times and Oscar couldn't touch him! That means yes, he made him look foolish since Oscar could barely touch him at times. Same as what Floyd & Roy Jones do to people and Im not a fan of either of those two.

Oscar knew he lost plus Whitaker got into that bad stuff. Thats why it didnt happen.

Is that right? How did Whittaker land more than Oscar when he was too busy running away ducking and dancing like a ***? Pernell can only blame himself for losing that night, I can't see how anyone would think blocking and running can win you a fight.
