This "knockdown" was more to do with what Clotey did wrong than what Cotto did right. A silly mistake can happen against anyone, hence my reason for voting YES on your poll.

If it wasn't for this little mistake by Clottey, Cotto might not have even won the fight. Cotto's power shots for 12 rounds basically didn't do much, so it's pretty obvious "the jab that knocked Clottey down" was pure luck.

If you know boxing, you'll see what I'm talking about, and maybe then you can stop trying to glorify a mistake.

The jab wasn't luck. He timed Clottey coming in with a perfect shot. Was Joshua hurt? No - he's got a steel chin. But the KD wasn't luck at all.

        it was lucky...

the punch was well timed, but cotto had no intention to knockdown clottey, hence lucky.

LOL @ having no intention to knock him down. How does it make him lucky? He intended to hit him in the face, anything that happens after that is a cause of it.

Clottey was of balance, isnt he know for having a pretty good chin?

He does. And he certainly was off-balance but luck? Nah, that punch caught him square, walking in.

it's lucky because he caught clottey off balance.

you need to distinguishe between the time of the jab and the reason for knock down itself (clottey was off balance).

the jab was well timed, but the knockdown was lucky.

If it pisses you off that people vote "yes"---then I say hell yes!! Afterwards, Pacquiao will flick his hand and banish Clottey to the nether realm.

If he was off balance like he was against Cotto than yes
