Pacquiao only thing he have is speed, wait to see how ordinary he looks when Cotto neutralizes it!!
Wait until Manny wins on Nov.14. After Manny shuts Cotto out people will claim again that Cotto is shot and that he lost everything to Margacheato BS crap. Manny despite all the the accolades has never really gotten the credit that he deserves. Manny KOed a 152lb Briton by the name of Ricky Hatton what makes you think Manny will not even have the same power when he throws a bushel of punches to a damaged good like Cotto? I don't care if Cotto comes in at 155lbs on fight night because every excess pound that he carries in the fight will make him slower which means he will be absorbing 70-80% of Manny's power shots.

My prediction: Manny Pacquiao by TKO between 3rd to 5th rounds.

However, should cotto not counterpunch this will be a short night for him, i can see a tko happening from pacman landing too many punches but a ko? i dont think so. that would be like saying pacman hits harder than judah clottey or ssm, obviously we dont count marg. come on he would never have ko'd odlh he just landed too many punches and dlh quit, thats would be the scenario that would play out, which would further justify the term kneegel quitto.
Cotto's counter-punching is not comparable to JMM. JMM is a pure counter-puncher whereas Cotto is not.

I see this fight as 50/50, anyone can win the bout either by stoppage or decision though.

Does David Diaz, Mayorga have Cotto's timing and stiff jab--nah. get out of here.

You say Cotto is "damaged good", isn't that an excuse already? You seem to be making an excuse for them also.

i agree cotto is more fundamentally skilled than MP...

but that doesnt mean MP being unorthodox & all is the inferior boxer...

morales, barrera & marquez are all way better than cotto in terms of fundamental skills IMO & MP who is the supposed to be "inferior" boxer gave them all hell...

yea i agree, he is similar to david diaz with 2 times the power and 3 times the boxing skill...

you obviously are overlooking cotto, you should be like your idol and not underestimate a truly dangerous opponent.

This sounds like someone who is focused and dont believe the hype. He will do well against Cotto because of it.

Hearing that Manny has studied a lot of a tape with Roach on Cotto means he is fully aware of what he's up against. I think the 24/7 could be very deceiving in that Manny might just be in crazy good shape and really ready for war. Afterall, wasn't he knocking down his sparring partners early in training which 24/7 never got to capture? The closer this fight gets, the more I'm thinking Manny might just strafe Cotto in the center of the ring with punches from all types of angles while avoiding anything Cotto throws. This definitely will be a higher intensity fight.

Man, Manny has some PR team behind him. I am simply
amazed by how many people are counting Cotto out of
this fight. Miguel dropped Clottey, a bigger man with a jab
and scooped slammed homes like nothing AND he fought to
the 12th round with a big gash over his eye AND could
of possibly been hit with plaster. This kid has been battled
tested at 147 and Manny has yet to be in the kind of wars
Cotto has with exception to Marquez and Pac squeaked
                      passed him both times.

The only thing that could possibly give Pac the edge is
Freddie Roach in his corner. Pac is going to hit Cotto
but I think Cotto can take his punches but not sure Manny
can take Cotto's. I also know for sure that Cotto ain't going
to let Pac tee off on him and not fight back. Technically,
Cotto has flaws but I don't feel Manny is defensive or patient
enough to exposed them. I can't wait till this fight happens,
what is it two more weeks?
