Haye will have to go for the UD if he wants to win but he will also need to win every round clearly to get any sort of decision. i fear that the size of Valuev will cause Haye problems.

The more i think of it, the more open this fight gets
50-50 from me, but if i had to choose id give Haye a slight edge..

Yes, i won't be surprised to see Haye knocked out, but if he knocks Valuev out i will be very surprised. Lewis knows what he is talking about. Haye is fighting a super heavywieght, that also beat Barrett, a fresher Barrett il bet.

Haye is not only faster but also punches harder in one shot imo. Valuev doesnt really punch hard at all for a man his size.

If Haye stays cool, moves but still conserves energy, and just uses the speed to go in and out, racking up the points, not loading up every punch (He's terribly open when he does that and it will give Valuev time to counter) he can easily win or maybe if he's lucky force a late stoppage. Really, all Valuev has is his size and decent durability, as well as 50 odd fights experience. Valuev's best bet is just to try and catch Haye at the end of his range, just prevent him from coming in, or shuffle back so Haye overextends himself and then counter- but I just think he doesn't have the speed to do that. He could go right after Haye and try to bash him, but still too slow to corner Haye, and even when you're as big and tough as Valuev, it's still not a great idea to walk right into Haye's power.

I'm gonna be flat out gutted if Haye loses this, i'm a big fan of his but I totally appreciate that for a professional fighter he seems to fight very, very rarely.

I wouldn't mind if he'd built up his record to like 30+ fights, but the fact he beat one guy then sits about for a year to get this shot kinda bugs me. If he wins then kudos to him, he got there with an incredibly low amount of experience, but if he loses, I don't see him coming back.

Haye should try the Mayweather-style; hit & run hit & run.

if haye loses hes a millionaire(7 digit payday for this fight)& retires in cyprus. If he wins he gets to make alot more money...its a win-win situation.im not sure who to pick.valuev is better than people give him credit for & so is haye.interesting david vs goliath matchup.
