Why does the whites have to be pure nordic european types and not include southern europeans and their descendants in America? No one demands that the African Americans have a pure African lineage to be considered Black?

He is caucasian, he is anthropologically speaking a part of the white race. I don't know how you classify people in America but in Europe he would be considered white.

Nothing Racial......just curious as to who others might feel were the top white fighters.
I have heard Rocky Marciano and because I love boxing I have researched his old fights, seen some of his clips, and semi-screened his opposition. After all that, I found him to be just Ok(but that's another topic)Unbeaten can be over-hyped.
Calzaghe was pretty good but he needed America sooner in his career to see where he was really at.
Personally, I think the best, most entertaining and exciting in my era had to be "The Real Rocky Balboa, Arturo Gatti. (RIP)

Gatti wasn't really white. It depends on how white you want to go, Ricky Hatton white or De la Hoya white...
