If Cotto can return to the Cotto before the Marg fight, he will walk Pac down and stop him.

I pray for them too (with the recent tragic events and all). They look to Pac as their savior. It will be a crappy time for them if he loses as well. But it's just boxing. If they can make it through natural disasters, they can make it through a loss from Manny.

Damn! Why all these condescending tones against pinoys? We can still go on with our lives even if Pac losses in this fight (which won't happen ).

I still say it's going to be 1 round only by DQ, Cotto's gonna strike Pac's balls 3 times in a row!

          ------------------
Oh wait, did i say he's gonna do it on his 1st KD?

Oh, no question. If that was the case I'd say Cotto by knockout, but we have not seen that Cotto since then, so we'll just see...

tough to KO Cotto, but i give Manny the benefit of the doubt. His style has an advantage against left-handed fighters like Cotto. the main attribute that Cotto has that leads me to believe he'll come out on top is his heart. He has been in fights where he needed to dig deep to survive, and I don't see Manny as a pressure fighter. He can pile on the combo's and big shots early, but Cotto has great timing, and Manny will be there to counter. such a good match-up. Manny's got the biggest balls in boxing.

Hey man, I give the filipinos mad props. I love you peeps. I think Pac is the ****. Great warrior, amazing skills, I just don't think he can handle this jump up to a True welterweight. btw,Why would Cotto hit him in the balls? Every fighter has thrown and received low blows, why attach this to Cotto? If you ever boxed you'd know it's inevitable and sometimes you're going to hit someone accidentally in the nuts. It happens.

Manny has fast hands and he's strong;he will land some bombs. I just think Cotto will be able to take them. I mean the guy went 11 rounds getting hit by bricks for gods sake. I feel he will take them and be able to catch up with Manny. He's going to stalk and trap him, and when he hits him, the damage will pile up fast. I see Cotto winning decisively, based on his power and relentless aggression that we've seen in the past. I think Manny has power, but Miguels power trumps his (Cotto weighs more as well). Manny has speed but not where it counts (at least in this fight). Where they both stand equal is in heart. I definitely can't take that away from Pac, I just feel he gets overpowered in this one by a true welterweight. Cotto by TKO stoppage. Pac will not give up, but his corner will throw in the towel.
I see you gave this thought, instead of just saying: "ROFLZOR! Cotto rulez!" So i commend you for that.

1- Where don't you believe manny has the necessary speed? Footwork? Core movement? certainly not handspeed..

2- Pac's workrate is unlike anything cotto has faced.. It might be cotto that is a victim of relentless aggression..

3- Also, I think Pac might have more heart, but we'll see

I still got pac over cotto..24/7 hype doesn't fool me

I'll go through your points of contention in order.

                      1. Speed: Like I stated, Manny has it, just not where it matters for this fight. he'd have to fight like say a Floyd jr to get away from Cottos relentless attack. He definetly has fast hands but do you really see him walking Cotto down and presuring the fight? I don't

                      2. Workrate:Like I said in the point above I can't see him pressuring the fight. He'd have to stand there and trade, and I don't think he wants to do that with Cotto.

                      3. Heart: It's a tossup. We all know these guys mean business.

I'll have to stick with my pick. And 24/7 has nothing to do with it, as you can see, nothing from the show was reflected in my reasons why I think Cotto will win. 24/7 is a show to hype the fight. For all we know tensions will rise in the Cotto camp in Episode 3, just to boost ratings and build the hype more. I'm entertained by the fight, but 24/7 is a completely separate entity to me.
