And that's all De La Hoya has been doing the past 6 years: Going for the big money fights in his twilight years. Face it: In terms of boxing economics Cotto is chump change.

When De La Hoya fought Forbes Cotto was still a nobody so that doesn't wash. As for Pac, he's a prime fighter still taking on all comers, NOT a past-it ex-champion looking to make a nice piece of change on the side.
