They show you the struggle of a country afflicted with a devastating incident in the backdrop of a training camp affected, not just by the obstacles of training but also the struggle of the humanity around them. People who like loud mouth, gansta wannabe, brash, boastful, trash talk will not appreciate it just like they probably don't appreciate educational, informative, intelligent forms of entertainment. The majority of the people who 24/7 is targeted are educated people who appreciate the storyline and not the dudes who's attention span is restricted to low life, gangsta thug life **** talking. Not everybody is ******.
That's all interesting but that's why we watch the news. I didn't mind that part of 24/7 but 24/7's objective should be to hype and lead people to watch the next 24/7, I'm gonna watch the next one because I'm a hardcore fan but that episode was boring (I expected it to be) but not boring to that extent. I don't see casuals coming back to it. Ain't about being ****** either, I'm surprised because way before Mayweather & DLH's 24/7, I've and many others have said Cotto doesn't have a personality and the same goes for Pacquiao. All of a sudden, this is news to people.

Exactly, the main point of 24/7 is for people who were soso about watching the fight or not interested at all. The way they do is to get you to watch the next, then the next, then the last and ultimately get you to order the fight by the time its fight night. Nothing in that episode was that interesting enough to bring back a casual fan. The 10 second pissy fit Roach threw was the highlight.

In Pac's shoes? You mean if Floyd was in 24/7's and big fights?

          News alert....

BTW, This thread is about THIS 24/7. Not about Floyd

As they say, styles make fights, it is also true that personalities make shows. I thought it was very good. As for your taste, you rather watch a show about Mayweather throwing money around, money he doesn't have because his cars have been repo, and he owes money to the IRS. Mayweather claims to be the best P4P, which at this time, unfortunately for him, he is not. That means that what Mayweather tries to profile on 24/7 is false. I guess you rather watch fake shows than a look into the real lives of two great boxers that are warriors and will give it all they have at fight time, which by the way, Mayweather will not. Hey I think you will be more satisfied watching some Disney movies.

I mean I wasn't bored though it wasn't especially interesting. I like Cotto's tattoo and as said before the pool scene was just random and funny to me.
HBO reduced the budget for this 24/7, and you are seeing some of that onscreen.

For example, in the FMJ-JMM fight, they had a total of three crews. One in DF with Juanman, and two with FMJ. In this 24/7, they only have one following each guy.

So, when the crew was away doing the pseudo National Geographic bit, they missed out on some camp dynamics. Including (possibly) the fight.

I can't believe that HBO would not broadcast the aftermath of Ariza/Koncz if they had the tape. It isn't like they tried to ignore it or conceal it. If you have the tape, show the scuffling. That would have been compelling TV.

I mean, hasn't Miguel been hanging out in Ybor?

You just posted a bunch of words about Mayweather and his finances in a thread about Pac-Cotto 24/7.

You do know that Floyd already fought...right? Please keep up.

Anybody's opinion that dissents from yours is , in the words of my 13 year old nephew, "a hater"? So mature.

I guess Pacland's Phil Boxing is full of "haters" today.
