If Manny was a potshotter, do you think he would be loved??

Potshotting is fine if you stand and fight once in a while, but potshotting and running all night is a slap in the face to the sport and to the people who shelled out hard earned cash to come see you FIGHT.
This is the ignorance I'm talking about. If a fighter fights defensively with lots of movement, it's not to spite morons like yourself, it's because that's a necessary tactic they need to employ to win. Take calderon-cazares for example. Cazares outweighed Ivan by 17 lbs.....If Ivan didn't get on his bike and box intelligently, he would have gotten bashed.

So you admit they're doing it to make up for other deficiencies?

              Boxing is not running.

I know cowards like you and the fighters you like have convinced you that it is, but this isn't the Olympics or the amateurs, this is pro boxing.

If you don't like contact, get the *** out.

It's not that you have to like contact. Boxing is about scoring points without getting hit. That's the science that I appreciate.

Pot shotting is just plain boring to watch. There's really no other way that I can put it. If everyone pot shotted, boxing would have little to no fans. It's almost the equivalent of 2 MMA guys rolling on the ground. As a tactic to win I have no problems with it, just don't expect to impress or gain popularity. People like to see contact, chin and heart. It's what has made the sport great and continues to make the sport great. If you think you're too pretty to get hit, then don't fcking box. The fans want to see both fighters wanting to take the other guy out when they step into the ring, not go in with the mindset of winning a decision. That's why it's pro boxing and not the Olympics.

You know who thought he was too pretty to get hit? Victor Ortiz. The minute he had to fight, he quit. Your thoughts on that?
