Shane wanted competitive glory, and he sought that. He will have to deal with the consequences.

Floyd wanted mega-paydays, and he sought that. He will have to deal with the consequences.

They will both have their regrets.

Why would Shane even WANT to face a ducker/coward/b*tch?
i agree he was ******. he should have done exactly what floyd did. he won't be respected in the boxing world but he will be able to give homeless people lots of turkeys with all his money like floyd does.........nobel peace prize in the future possibly?

i don't know about dignity but shane mosley comes off as a nice guy at least publicly.

no need for all this talk. shane mosley is currently the backup option for cotto , pacquiao AND mayweather.

he might not be their first choice but certainly the 2nd option. mosley should get a nice payday next year.

if pacquiao wins and pacquiao-mayweather can't get made , BOTH pacquiao and mayweather will be interested in a mosley fight.

if cotto wins , mosley would be his 2nd option if he can't get a fight with mayweather.

even if cotto losses to pacquiao , his biggest money fight would be mosley again , unless he wants to rematch clottey and margarito.

Juan Diaz VS Mayweather in Texas makes more money than Mayweather VS Mosley. Mayweather could prove himself against Diaz who is one hell of a fighter and a former Lightweight champ. He should roll the dice and give him a chance like Genaro Hernandez did with him.

shane should have been more cautious with 20/20 hindsight.

he lost so much status losing back to back to forrest and then winky.

he should have just not rematched them right away. viper and winky are such bad matchups for him. too brave for his own good.

I think Pac's decision tree runs thusly:

              May => JMM => Moz

PBF will never fight Shane. It sucks for us as fans, but that's the way it is. It would be a great matchup, but really isn't worth making more threads over.

Shane will have less regrets coz he tried and knows what he could do cause he gave his best. No shame in that.

Mayweather didn't showed how great he was these last years.

floyd is NOT gonna fight another lightweight.

                    that's dumb.

he fought marquez to help set up pac-may. pac beats hatton and delahoya , i'll beat the last guy who gave pac a tough fight.

plus it was a tuneup , so it was somewhat okay.

who the hell would want a juan diaz fight with mayweather? juan diaz barely got by paulie malignaggi at 138.5 he's gonna fight at 147?

                      possible.

if he beats cotto , it'll be MAY (1st option) , MOS (2nd option)

if he losses to cotto , it'll be JMM (1st option) , i don't know who would be his 2nd option. [if he can't beat cotto , he'd get massacred by may and mosley]
