16 years in the game, current WW titlist... and begging a contender for a fight. That's unfortunate.

Champion: Hey, #4 Contender. I'm willing to give you a fight. You can contest for my belt.
Contender: Thanks, man. But you do you. I got bigger things going on.
Champion: Oh. Um, Ok. Well, good luck.
      Contender: Thanks again. Stay cool.
      Champion: Peace.

      End of.

Yep. Floyd absolutely chased Oscar. Begged him for a fight publicly and privately. Floyd got the fight, and used that to take his marketability to the next level.

Shane chased an Oscar fight. Fought Oscar TWICE. What has Shane done with all that exposure?

        Get it?

Champion: Your balls, you left them over there on the table along with your dignity.

the idiot went and wasted it by fighting the best in vernon forrest and winky wright. that killed all his career momentum. luckily this will never happen to floyd since he will stick to mismatch fights. mosley should have done the same.

it's not shane's fault he lost to winky and forrest.

              that's what hurt his status.

              at least he fought them.

I think it brings in more money for one simple reason.. The million people watching him fight Marquez all saw Mosley and Bernard jump into the ring and challenge him. That's what get's people excited. Very few who bought Marquez wouldn't buy Mosley.. Also, this would add a lot of haters to the mix, because Mosley has a really legit chance of beating him.

I might add that this would be no Pacman Vs Mayweather draw, but I think it would be around 1.1-1.3 million if he fought mosley.

Well, according to Ravishing, Shane has all this dignity.

Dignity > Money. Right? So, no worries.

Why would Shane even WANT to face a ducker/coward/b*tch?

no it's all his fault don't you see. once you are at the top of the boxing world you can't risk losing. you have to stay there no matter what. mosley should have tread water fighting baldomir, gatti, marquez type opponents. guys with big popular names but no real chance at winning. career destruction by the sugar man in fighting vernon and winky. leave that up to the poor fighters fighting for scraps this is the bigtime. make that big money!

I think it would make more money, no doubt.
